Abstract. The purpose of this study was to find out how much public enthusiasm for Japanese
anime merchandise was seen based on the sales of the merchandise. This research uses a
purposive sampling method with non-random sampling technique. Nonrandom sampling is
used to determine the specific characteristics that are in accordance with the research
objectives. The specific characteristics of sampling that are used as criteria are the seller and
the level of sales. So that the final results of this study can be known the influence of the level
of sales of Japanese anime merchandise to the enthusiasm of the community in
entrepreneurship to become the seller of these products.
